Judy Nadell is the co-founder and vice president of TP. She's also the creator of The King School Series, TP's collection of leveled books for young readers.

George Henry, alias Superman, manages our Book Center and represents TP at countless educational conferences. He comes closer than any other mortal to being in two places at once.

Dolly DePagter travels the country and meets with educators interested in using TP materials. She is also present at many of the educational conferences TP attends each year.

Tom Atkinson is the crew chief in TP's Book Center. Tom's efforts have helped establish our reputation for cheerful, rapid delivery of desk copies and book orders.

Janet Goldstein plays every position on the field: designer, author, teacher, editor, proofreader, tech expert, database manager, and more. Not only does she do it all--she does it all extremely well.

Dot Carroll answers  TP's toll-free hotline, expertly handling a nonstop stream of requests. Call us toll-free and chances are that Dot will be the one to greet you and help you out.

Paul Langan has contributed to a number of TP textbooks. He is also the editor and lead author of the Bluford Series, TP’s popular collection of young adult novels.

Anna Joie works to make sure each order is recorded and processed correctly. Along with Elaine, Sheila and Liz, Anna keeps TP’s busy office running smoothly.

Beth Johnson has contributed to many TP textbooks and written a number of Townsend Library titles. She is also a contributing author to The King School Series for young readers.

Gerald Purnell, artist and illustrator, has created all the cover art for TP’s acclaimed Bluford Series. Gerald also travels with George to represent TP at select reading conferences.

Emily Donovan helps manage TP’s busy office. She handles billing questions, keeps track of orders and sales, and processes much of the non-stop paperwork--while making it all look easy.

Joe Webb skillfully handles technical support for TP’s busy Online Learning Center. In addition, Joe answers most customer service e-mail for Townsend Press.

Elaine Leisher assists Emily with the ever-increasing paperwork in TP’s main office. She also helps with customer shipping & billing questions, and she processes orders placed over our website.

Eliza Comodromos is a skilled editor, writer, and project manager. She makes sure TP's instructor’s manuals and teacher guides are as clear and precise as possible. She also plays a key editorial role with The King School Series.

Barbara Solot lends her editing and proofreading skills and her exceptional design talents to many TP publications. She is a participant in the creation of each Townsend Library book.

Sheila Akers cheerfully answers TP's busy phones and provides assistance to students and teachers who are using TP's Learning Center. If you call our main offices, she is likely to be the first person you speak to. 

Liz Cocco deftly plays many roles in TP's main offices. She helps answer the phones, processes orders, and provides technical support to folks using our Online Learning Center.
